Description
52 3/4 Inches overall size. Barrel length is 37 3/8 Inches. Cheekrest is present on the left side of the buttstock. Dated "860" for 1860 on the lockplate along with an eagle crest. Other markings found on this piece are number "69" and letter "P" on the end cap, near the muzzle. The number "16" is found on both barrel bands, trigger guard, and other areas. Rifling is present inside the bore which measures .58 cal in size. This rifle is in working condition with a replaced nipple. Rear site is missing. Ramrod is present (repair to ramrod). General wear to wood surfaces and metal areas with age. This is a wonderful example just ready for display!
