WW1 German / Model 1898/05 bayonet by FERD ESSER & Co. ELBERFELD / Dated 1915 on the spine / Maker mark is nice and bold “scarce” hard to find maker - Made into a fighting knife (The release button has been removed as well as the attachment for the leather frog) “only alterations” The blade has some darker areas, nice and clean and free from rust / The wood grips have a great overall look with some general wear
